Prior to founding Ascencion Wellness & Nutrition, I devoted 15 years of my life to Corporate America, in areas ranging from finance to insurance. Although my career wasn’t directed toward healthcare, I maintained a keen observation of stressed employees who struggled to find their work/life balance. Through these observations, my desire for helping others turned into my life’s passion. During the 15 years of working in an office setting, I struggled with unhealthy eating habits. I thought that augmenting my bad habits with exercise was key to a healthier lifestyle. I decided to become a certified Wellness Coach because it became clear to me that success in wellness not only relies on knowing what to do, but how to make it happen in our ongoing busy lives. I have made it my focus to understand your unique objectives and struggles to most efficiently help you set appropriate, achievable goals. In my coaching, I utilize compassion and honesty to help propel others beyond their current state of wellness. While I am non -judgemental, I hold people accountable to their wellness goals. My intention is to help others recognize when they are or are not following their chose wellness paths. Coaching has become my way of helping everyday people accomplish their goals. It is my desire to work with others to make their wellness dreams become a reality
